This service allows patients with glaucoma who are struggling to insert their glaucoma drops to obtain advice and guidance from an accredited optometrist. 

To qualify for the service you must:

  1. Have a GP in Oxfordshire

  2. Be treated for glaucoma with medication

  3. Be referred to the service by:

    • a.The Hospital

    • b. GP

    • c. Nurse

    • d. Pharmacist

    • e. Carer

    • f. Optometrist

  4. Provide a copy of the most recent list of your medication

  5. Answer 'yes' to any of the following questions:

  • Are you having problems or finding it difficult to get the drops into your eyes?

  • Are you having problems or finding it difficult to open your drops?

  • Are you having problems or finding it difficult to hold your drops?

  • Are you unsure when to put your drops in?

  • Have you stopped using the drops because you are finding it hard to use them?
